Barley is a very ancient cereal. The most used is the pearly one, i.e. without the external coating. Hence its "pearly" white color and its greater ease of cooking and digestibility.

For soups, soups, salads, to compose main courses or to make desserts. Excellent alternative to rice in combination with seasonal vegetables.

There is no need to soak. We recommend a visual check of the product and washing with running water. Cook (1 part of barley for 3 parts of water) for 20/25 minutes (15/20 min from the moment of the whistle if in a pressure cooker).
